this is an excerpt from an email, which basically tells the story of my awkward post working evening:

tonight was an adventure, i spent my last dime and
dollar (this is a non-literal phrase for the rest of
the clams remaining from last weeks check) on self
indulgence. around 3:30 i went to meijer to get a
donut. i ended up getting a mocha frappachino drink, moose tracks boxed dessert, some sort of supreme assortment boxed pizza with sausage, pepperoni and onions, bourbon whiskey flavored rolling tobacco, and tic tacs. there were no donuts left. when i got to the car, i opened the tobacco to find it didn't come with papers. so i went to the meijer gas station and knocked on the window and the lady said she didn't have any papers, but i should go to speedway. so i did, and explained my predicament to the nice lady at speedway, and she picked out the 99 cent "french light" papers. (later i realized that this was actually pipe tobacco, and i was too far gone to realize it when i bought it, so i pulled out the corn cob also, low and behold, speedway had donuts.

---------

i could go on for pages and pages explaining the events leading up to and occuring after this, but i don't have the energy at this point. i smoked some dro and kools, finished reading "forced entries" by jim carroll, and listened to the album "ta det lugnt" by dungen. which, might i add, is fucking brilliant. i have listened to this cd many many times, and i cant never really focus on the different songs, it all molds into one big entrancing musical atmosphere, with the same melody repeating and manifesting itself in different parts.

barney is sleepy, and so am i, but we are also hungry. this will be quite a bright morning.
